Grow Organic

food as it should be

Organic. It's a word you'll see a lot on our menus and in our food shops. 15% of all UK organic producers are registered in Wales, as it happens. And organic food doesn't just taste better. It's better for you, too. Buying organic food direct from the producer helps support local economies. And low food miles means you're helping to reduce pollution, too. But it doesn't stop at food. You can book an organic holiday. Visit or to find out more.

outdoor art

get creative in the garden

Our gardens aren't just places to enjoy plants and trees. They're great spaces, too. Huge open air galleries. With no walls. No size constraints. Like Parc Glynllifon, where you can literally reach out and touch the outdoor sculpture. Or Bodnant Garden and Plas Newydd, where you can catch an outdoor theatre performance. No stuffy auditoriums here though. These are different. Natural amphitheatres. But unlike indoor venues, it's best to take an umbrella.

simon o'rourke tree carving

Simon O'Rourke takes art to a whole new level of danger. Talk about living on the edge. Once upon a time he was a children's book illustrator. Now he swings from ropes, chainsaw in hand, and carves sculptures from trees. His chainsaw exploits have taken him all over
